Moms2tech Inc. is a safe haven that supports young mothers in Broward County, Florida in becoming self-sufficient through IT career training, career readiness, mental health support, financial literacy, housing support (M2T Heart Grant) and a focus on holistic health.
What Makes Us Different?
A significant number of government services exhibit a tendency to impede progress by fostering stagnation amongst the individuals they serve. This often results in individuals refraining from upskilling and/or applying for higher paid positions. due to fixed compensation thresholds to remain in alignment with those services. In sharp contrast, our organization strives to take a holistic approach that entails professional development and skills improvement. We are not content with perpetuating an endless cycle but rather positively change the trajectory of our communities.
A Message From Our CEO:
Moms2tech Inc. was formed from an emotionally broken place during the height of the pandemic. As a single mother of 2 children, life became extremely difficult. Feeling defeated and overwhelmed, I wondered what is required to succeed in life and operate to my fullest potential? At the time, I worked for a cybersecurity institute, in the admissions department. The more I learned about cybersecurity, it provided the realization that an agile skillset in IT could bring forth unwavering job security and financial stability. Around this time, I also yearned for supportive networks who could empathize with my struggles and journey. Moms2tech Inc. has emerged as a Phoenix from the ashes of my past tribulations, a catalyst now for positive change. Life is not only our experiences, but also how we learn and elevate from those experiences. A never-ending assurance that all things are collectively working together for our good.
