Marcus D’Ambrosio has been designing hair in Albuquerque, NM since 2001. His training began at The Carsten Institute in Phoenix, AZ. After returning to New Mexico, Marcus trained with Redken, and became both a Redken educator and a Certified Redken Colorist. Marcus also received his BA from UNM’s Anderson School of Management. His award winning business plan, for UNM’s Business Plan Competition, was the inspiration for D’Ambrosio Designs Hair Studio.
Marcus prides himself in his listening skills, and ability to not only give his guests a finished product that looks great, but deliver a product that they asked for and wanted. Marcus has the ability to keep his guests up to date keeping in mind his clients personal style. It’s important to Marcus that his clients’ hair looks amazing not only when he styles it the day of their service, but when the style their hair on a daily basis.
Marcus has studied at the headquarters of Bumble and bumble, Goldwell, and Redken. He has been an educator for both Goldwell and Redken, and continues to learn and grow as both a businessman and artist.
